From installation to everyday use with several accounts, everything works perfectly.
What does not
Since Wine 0.9.60, a regression appeared : the system tray icon is shown at the right place on GNOME desktop, but a Wine System Tray window is also displayed all the time. Tray animations are only displayed on the Wine System Tray window. The tray icon at the right place on GNOME desktop stays with the icon from the launch. Right click works on the tray icon at both locations. Please note that I only tested PopTray with GNOME. The problem may not appear with KDE.
What was not tested
Because of the Wine System Tray window which is always shown, and the animations which are only displayed there, I can't see without minimizing or switching of window if I received an e-Mail and so on. Thus it becomes really unpractical to use PopTray everyday. For those who do not need all the functionalities provided by PopTray, "mail-notification" (directly available in Ubuntu) may be an interesting native alternative.
