Make your Tablet PC or digitized tablet as easy and as comfortable to use as a paper sketchbook or notebook except you can do much more. With a flick of the stylus you'll access any of the software's best-of-class tools: fast, reactive pencils, markers and brushes, pen-driven layers; background templates; a 30-brushstroke "undo/redo" option, and a unique pan/zoom tool.

What works

The application works with several native tricks; it requires the following native DLLs:

  • MSVCP71.DLL
  • MSVCR71.DLL

It also requires native MSXML3, which requires the following native components:

What does not

Actual tablet pressure sensitivity. Tested with an Intuos3 A4 pen tablet on Ubuntu Feisty Fawn (2.6.20-15-generic).

Wine's wintab32.dll implementation seems to lack a WTI_INTERFACE feature to request the number of supported devices. See this specification. The following FIXME message is shown:

fixme:wintab32:X11DRV_WTInfoA WTI_INTERFACE unhandled index 4

Index 4 would appear to be IFC_NDEVICES.

What was not tested

I haven't tested this with native wintab32.dll, but I assume that this isn't going to work since it obviously isn't going to hook into XInput.
