What works

Everything you need for normal use.

What does not

Certain functions such as "Always on Top", and "Auto Raise Board" do not work.

When playing on ICS (Internet Chess Server), the output window freezes at 32767 characters because of bug 8330. Until that is fixed, you can use a native riched20.dll from windows.

When running zippy to automate an engine on a chess server, timeseal hogs all the cpu after the first game. Either don't use timeseal in this case, or run a native linux timeseal instead.

Workarounds

What was not tested

various board sizes and ICS message color options. My settings worked fine, and they are not the default, so at least there's a reasonable chance this stuff all works fine.

Additional Comments

You need wine version 0.9.37 or above in order to play on ICS.
