Star Wars - Force Commander

What works

• Installation
• Multiple CD install encountered no issues using 'wine eject'.
• Patching
• Dowloaded v1.1 patch from LucasArts and applied successfully.
  

What does not

• Running the Game
• Executing 'wine Force.exe' from the installed directory, the main menu opens up, but selecting 'Start Game' fails to launch game.
• After brief loading screen, wine crashes with the following:

Additional Comments

Tried this with wine set to emulate Windows 98 and Windows 95; neither allowed game to run. Enabling/disabling Virtual Desktop, Window Manager Control made no difference; game still will not run.
