Everything works great straight from the box without any no-cd patch.
Game is fast and a pleasure to play. I just finished it.

It is amazing of how well wine now works. This game no longer runs on windows xp and onwards, wine is now saviour of old games having better support for windows games than plain vanilla windows. Games also tend to run faster in wine than in windows.
