The tested version was the GOG one. Game itself from BOS.exe worked out of the box, high resolution required enabling virtual desktop. Tested on 64-bit wineprefix.

In your ~/.wine/config file, make sure you set "UseDGA" to "Y" otherwise the game will run very slowly.
