Installs and successfully updates to latest patch level (with Quicken automatic updater). Opens an existing Quicken 2007 file successfully. I can navigate between accounts without a problem. Rendering time is slow (drawing charts and graphs) but does work and shows normally. Interaction with graphical charts, such as pop-up labeling, works.
Quicken internal browser works.
What does not
Labels for tabs and buttons were missing until I installed Microsoft core fonts using Wine-Doors.
Doing a web connect file from IE 6 running under WINE didn't work; downloaded web connect file had errors as well and froze the application. Once I forced the application to shut down, Quicken wouldn't restart.
What was not tested
Didn't test reporting, reconcile, most other things not mentioned here.
If the web connect file import can be gotten to work, this should change to gold rating. Without being able to import downloaded updates, though, you lose a lot of ease in the software.

I took a shot and upgraded to the latest beta release of wine and Quicken stopped working getting the Com Err message.
Using winetricks I made sure I had the corefonts, fontfix, ActiveX plugin, Power Point Viewer 2003 and this got it working once again.
The only trouble I am having are the tabs and text in the buttons - I can't read them and/or the label is not present. I'll have to play around with the fonts installed by winetricks.
