Cortex Command

Story : There was a discovery that Planet X had massive gold deposits under the surface. Like the thousands of others that arrived here last month, you've set up a small bunker and are preparing to make a fortune for yourself. However, contrary to reports, there's more under the crust of Planet X than gold and dirt (and the occasional man-eating mutant space mole). You'll soon find yourself spearheading the attack against the massive Artificial Intelligence that's duty is to protect the planet (and its secrets) from intruders like yourself. The attack will take you from the surface of Planet X to the AI's heavily fortified base on the moon.

HowTo / Notes

Fullscreen and sound
Edit: As of wine 0.9.44 and CC test build 17 this don't apply anymore. I doesn't matter if you run it in fullscreen/windowed or with OSS/ALSA

To get the game to run smoothly you need to run it in fullscreen. If you don't want to go though the pain of selecting it ingame you can edit the "Settings.ini" file in the "Base.rte" folder.

Just change "Fullscreen = 0" to "Fullscreen = 1". (OR press Alt+Enter as the game starts)

Seems like running the game with ALSA creates some problems. Setting the sound to OSS and DirectSound to driver emulation and HW acceleration to emulation too seems to solve most problems.
