I have the preview version that runs directly from the hard disk, and after adding the no cd crack, i ran it and the menu came up with no problems. no noticeable glitches or anything like that - sound was working fine as well.
ran the first level of the game and the cinematic cut scenes were displayed ok and the music and voices were fine.
the game itself runs quite smoothly - i've got 1gb of ram and a GeForce 7300 LE GFX card and it looked near to the quality I had on XP.
there's a very, very, very small drop in the frame rate - while it's quite smooth, if you've played this extensively on XP, you'll probably notice it - but it's really nothing special.
What does not
No joypad support. If you press "Esc" to enter the options and select the joypad option, the game crashes completely.
which makes it VERY difficult to play with a keyboard.
and considering I know how difficult the final level is, I can say without a doubt that when you get to that point - IF you get to that point - you will wish you had a joypad.
What was not tested
I only played the first level - since all the cut scenes, graphics and sound were working well, i didn't go any further.
