eFax 4.3 Fails to install on ubuntu 7.04 with wine 0.9.45.
What does not
Using the advice found on installing Quicken 2006, I created a new ~/.wine (winecfg), installed IE6 using ies4linux, deleted all the files & folders under ~/.wine/ and copied the contents from ~/.ies4linux/ie6/* to ~/.wine/. This satisfies eFax's requirement for IE5 or greater.
I was able to run the installer. In the middle of the install wine produced an unhandled page fault and terminates.
