If the setup archive is extracted with winRAR, and legitlibm.dll is replaced by this one: http://rapidshare.com/files/13469468/legitlib__honeytech.wordpress.com_.rar when renamed from legitlib.dll to legitlibm.dll, then compatibility for setup_wm is set for winxp mode, it passes validation, downloading of files, but says it cannot finish referring to: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/webhelp/default.aspx?&mpver=11.0.5721.5145&id=80004005&contextid=10000&originalid=80004005 If the installed contents from a windows machine are copied over, and the wmplayer.exe is copied over by the version 10 executable, and wm_setup is again run, and then winxp mode is set for wmplayer.exe, it will display the initial config screen. If custom is selected, it just fills the window with white, so express settings must be chosen. After this it still complains about it not being installed properly.
