Additional Comments
Install in Win XP mode Install shortened from: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10219#c1 1. Extract the files: "wine wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe /C" and put the files in a temp directory 2. Change c_drive name: "sh winetricks volnum" (I have no clue why this works.) 3. Install Windows Media Format 11: "wine {temp dir}/wmfdist11.exe" Will not gracefully close, must force close the terminal window. 4. Install Windows Media Player 11: "wine {temp dir}/wmp11.exe" Will not gracefully close, must force close the terminal window. Getting WMP11 to work from: http://askubuntu.com/questions/5296/how-to-install-windows-media-player-11-on-wine/84188#84188 I can't get it to do any more than open, but I got the Windows Media Format 11 installed and I needed it for another program.
