What was not tested
Multi-player at all, and single-player beyond chapter 4.
Some post-installation tweaking was required, which may vary depending on which media you use. I have the four-DVD boxset. After installation, I copied the CD directories to the Baldur's Gate directory, set that directory as a D: CD-ROM in winecfg and edited the aliases in Baldur.ini so that CDx:=D:\CDx\.
