What works

install, joystick control, all the missions I tested worked fine.

What does not

when putting a significant amount of distance between you and the trade station in a system (like going to an asteroid to get an artifact), the game becomes quite choppy, like 4fps or less. Heading back toward the trade station fixes this.

Additional Comments

The game is definitely playable, and may work perfectly with some slight configuration. It really is just that lag. I occasionally experienced the lag during cut scenes, but leaving the trade station was the most consistent.
