Everything runs out of the box.
Drag Shot/ Slice Shot are ok and the graphics look perfect, no problems with sprine. nothing. Works like a charm
If you're using Wine64 it's likely sound will not work in any 32bit games so far. To fix that in Arch Linux X86_64 you must install these packages:
lib32-alsa-plugins lib32-libpulse lib32-openal
Found this fix here (arch linux only): https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=135032
If you have this problems. Check if to see if you can find these packages for your distro.
What does not
Even in windows Gunbound is known for several issues regarding its graphical mode. It only supports 800x600 resolution and minimizing it causes problems.
In linux it couldn't be different. I'm using Plasma 5.8.2 and found that trying to minimize the game/alt+tab will either make X Server Crash, Freeze the screen or cause KDE to be unable to go back io it's normal resolution.
So do yourself a favor and avoid headaches, run this game within a virtual desktop,
It's very easy to do so. Just execute winecfg then go the tabs > Graphics > Emulate Virtual Desktop > 800 x 600 > OK
Setting a resolution that's bigger than that will generate buggy graphics on the border exceeding the game's native resolution.
It'll will not break the game, but it's might be annoying, so set 800x600 and you're got to go.
