this test data is relevent to the first one i posted, after deleting the buggy definitions file and downloading the new ones from http://download.lavasoft.com/public/core.zip and extracting it to /home/yourname/yourwinedirectory/drive_c/windows/profiles/All Users/Application Data/Lavasoft/Ad-Aware 2007 -it ran fine however i have of yet to actually infect my system with spyware and test it so i don't know if it is reliable, or i don't know if this would even be possible.
