What works
The game did run just as expected on my computer with an NVidia NV6 video card.
What does not
If the mouse is moved outside the game area, the program pops up several DirectInput error boxes and fails to run; it needs to be killed (with xkill.)

This is different than my previous test, because it was tested on a different graphics chipset. This makes or breaks getting the game to work.
