Additional Comments
Tested with the following winecfg settings: Windows: Windows XP Audio: Hardware Acceleration set to 'Emulation' Everything Else: left as default Note: If your setup is different, just change the settings per application. Under the 'Applications' Tab, click 'Add Application' then select your 'HospitalTycoon.exe' Usually found in /home/Username/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Codemasters/Hospital Tycoon/' Note: You might have to add 'autorun.exe' INSTEAD of 'HospitalTycoon.exe' --I did NOT test this. For Installing: 'autorun.exe' did not work for me, so I used /cd/InstallData.dat. Before Playing you must copy the following files to your /Program Files/Hospital Tycoon folder: d3dx9_31.dll xinput1_3.dll You can find the above files on any DLL website, or getting them from a DirectX 9 Installer. To play the game, run 'autorun.exe' from the CD and click 'Play'. Or use the Launcher/Shortcut that wine gives you, which should launch: env WINEPREFIX="/home/Username/.wine" wine "C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Hospital Tycoon\HospitalTycoon.exe" c:\Program Files\Codemasters\Hospital Tycoon\HT_ICON_01_32.ico Now have fun and play the game. NOTE: There ARE errors while playing the game (Only if run from Terminal), but the game runs flawlessly and I have no problems playing a complete game. Compliments to the Wine HQ Guys/Gals, you guys did a Great job!! Another side note: I also have a custom cracked 'HospitalTycoon.exe' (Yes, I DO own the original copy, but I bought it at a yard-sale, and the disk ONLY came in a soft-back case. So I got ripped out of my CD-Key.)
