installed from the CD with nothing more. the launcher works fine but the game is not. problem with mono ? or DirectX 9.0 (agree licence needed for installing)

"The only steps I took were to extract the game files from the CD to a
folder on my desktop and execute from there -- I also replaced the
executable with a noCD crack. Aside from that, it's just plug'n'play."
