What does not
Skipping the movie when you start the game does not seem possible with this configuration. After waiting the 90 seconds for it to go by though, it works great.
Sometimes hosting a multiplayer game does not work. It seems rather random though.
Another thing, if your distro uses Pulseaudio, it will sometimes decide randomly to crash while the game movie is loading. If this is the case, the game will not allow you to begin and will freeze Xorg after the game tells you it is having sound issues. So far, this requires a restart of the system to fix. While you can ctl-alt-backspace to get X to restart I can't figure out how to get the sound to come back. Still working on it I guess.
What was not tested
Platinum only applies to those that install the 1.3 patch before running the game. Previous to that patch, I would have given it gold.
