KKND2 GUIDE

HEY

I had the same problem with the insert cd 2 problem, can you do a little guide on how to install and play this game, 'cause i didn't get how to do the thing you said "create 2 cd-rom device in clear wine prefix", thanks in advance....

in 1.5.2 it's little different..
First, create two directory in you wineprefix, like "cd1" and "cd2", then create two cd-rom devices in wineprefix and point it to directory:
winecfg -> Drives(tab) -> Add -> D: -> Show advanced -> "Path = ../cd1" -> "Type = CD-ROM"
And same drive "E:"
then mount as loop two iso in this directory cd1 and cd2, make shure that you have permission on /dev/loop* device
And play the game.
I check, it's works on 1.5.2 wine..

Thanks....yes...it was realtively easy...I just had to add myself to disk group and to mount the iso images as loops, then it was all goodd, thanks a lot

Using wine 0.9.45 on Debian Etch here. My dad wanted me to install KKND2 on a laptop we had that was running Windows Vista. Instead, I decided on a whim to try to install it on my Linux laptop.

Imagine my surprise and amazement when the game ran -perfectly- out-of-box, no additional configuration. I was extremely impressed. Those of you who like KKND2, if you're thinking about switching from Windows to Linux, don't let KKND2 hold you back!
