It worked earlier with crashes every now and again, but now, for some reason, it doesn't work at all. The error logs are more than my scrollback. I'll do a reply with them!

Music garbled & crashing

If your game crashes within a minute or two, or the music is garbled, try using winetricks to use the native quartz dll. Or rebuild wine without the assertion (music will be garbled then stop but at least the game won't crash):

Battles appeared to be way slow for me, until I disabled my desktop manager's display effects.
