What works
The game installs, and runs. It is playable with the sound turned off.
What does not
The sound is screwed up. It sounds okay during the credits and cut away scenes, but music during game play is loud and choppy so you can't hear the game characters. This is a known Windows bug and the solution in Windows is to decrease or disable DirectX sound acceleration altogether using dxdiag. Is there a mechanism in wine to do the same thing? I've already tried all the settings I can think of under the audio tab in winecfg.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Game was not played to completion due to headaches from sound. Have not
tested sound drivers other than ALSA.
