Basic dungeon crawl, originally written for windows 3.1. Features a multi-level dungeon with a wide array of player races and classes, however like the original Wizardry there is only a town and the dungeon, nothing else. This is a PURE dungeon crawler with very basic graphics, originally released as shareware.

What works

Main screen, Character Detail Screen, City Screen w/all locations.

What does not

Installing screen saver, midi and wav files.

City screen: The party information window did not render properly. Moving it around fixed that.

Dungeon screen: Navigation (keyboard, buttons) doesn't work.

Screen saver: After displaying the initial image it exits

Sound fx and music: When enabling sound fx, the game hangs. When enabling music I got no music.

Exiting the game: After you've entered the dungeon, the only way to exit the game is by killing wine, 'wineserver -k'.

Additional Comments

Actual gameplay does not work because of the navigation issue. To install the midi and wave files, unzip MORDOR.WIP and WAVES.WIP (they are actually zip files) and put the files in the c:\MORDOR\MUSIC directory. I set the Windows version to Window 95 before installing.

Test Sim Tower sound patch
The .wip files of the installer are actually zip files. Unzip them to get the .wav and .mid files for a manual copy if file copying fails during the installer.
