Additional Comments

Requires winetricks dotnet20 d3dx9 corefonts Installation and Patching can be tricky. Patch EXEs need to be put in the WINEPREFIX file tree to run. The game must be launched from its directory. For online play, do not forget to install the 2GB RAM & MP Lobby update from the lucasarts support website.

Can't Launch/Install
by Owen on Saturday December 14th 2013, 21:33
Installed by copying/pasting disc files (from disc 1) into folder all that worked up until launching it. The EAW launcher worked, but it couldnt find the disc. The FOC launcher did not have the white box (i tried a while ago, and i got that), but the buttons wouldn't work.
I tried installing from the disc, don't really know why i didn't do that in the first place, but Terminal won't let me eject the disc (when it prompts me for disc 2).

launch with start
by Kasperi Kuuskoski on Saturday September 6th 2008, 5:43
I had to start FOC with

wine start /Unix /Path_to_game/swfoc.exe

with normal "wine /Path_to_game/swfoc.exe" it did not work. Also, the launcher didn't work.
Can't start the game

The installation part proceeds normally, but when I try to load the game I get an empty text box. I do have corefonts installed.

I am trying to play the game on Mac and when I try to start it (even when opening swfoc.exe directly) it just comes to a black screen and when I alt+tab there is a little box that says "exception" telling me to come here for tips. Please help.
