I didn't try to change or upgrade parts of the cars, but this never have been a problem in wine.

The 1.4 patch, but remember this is an unofficial patch.

Additional Comments

The version I installed was the 1.3 in Spanish

A. For changing the default  aspect ratio, you have two options:

1. uniws patcher.

2. widescreenfix by thirteenAG. This is the best choice.

Place "scripts" and dinput8.dll on game folder,then do a dll override in winecfg

dinput8.dll (native, builtin)

B. For install modloader, you have to place the files in game folder

After that, do another dll override

d3d9.dll (native, builtin)

For adding cars, you need the "ADDONS" folder, and place the new cars files in there.
Widescreen works fine, and new cars are visible

I made other overrides, used for other programms or games. Not sure I they are needed:
mscoree (native)

mxl6 (native, builtin)

riched20 (native, builtin)

IMPORTANT: The installation of directx9 with $ winetricks d3d9 trough command line is no longer needed as workaround. In fact, you must not use it, for Modloader functionality. Leave the game install it.

1. Go to AutoRun folder and open 'autorun.cfg' file.

2. Edit row 'DirectXVersion=9.0c' to 'DirectXVersion=0'
