Sound FX do not play, instead I get some hiss and pops during disk activity and larger calculations.

Upgraded Wine, had no visible effect in gameplay. I did notice however, some of the install feedback had changed..

HOWTO

How to keep from crashing:

When you first run the game, click on options and disable new join and new game beep. I would also disable lobby muzak till the sound fx are fixed, but they do play.  F7 disables music entirely, F8 for SFX.
