What works
A few things have improved in Igor Engraver in Wine 1.1.41 compared to Wine 1.1.38. The mouse pointer and processing icon now have the correct look, although the processing icon is still not animated. There seems to be better stability when selecting objects; in 1.1.38 Igor Engraver often encountered problems and had to be restarted.

Igor Engraver installs in Wine with a music font for text so one has to change that in Edit -> Settings for new pieces. This is so if your installation of Wine does not have any other text fonts than those of Igor Engraver in the folder Fonts. Therefore it is recommended to install some text fonts in Wine before installing Igor Engraver so you can avoid or at least decrease the settings editing. E.g. www.urbanfonts.com has free fonts for download.
