I've been running this version under Linux for a number of years, mainly just for its CMYK support. Almost everything works and has worked for several years. You can install it, and run the updater to version 6.0.1, without a hitch.
In running it, I can use all of the tools, edit photos and save them. One time, it locked up on me and I had to kill the program, and occasionally you get a dark background where there shouldn't be one, but it works 98 percent of the time the same as it would in Windows.
I am actually running it under Wine 3.1.7, which isn't a selectable option in the database, but I've run it successfully under many other versions in the past, with the same results.
What does not
What was not tested
I've tried pretty much everything in the last 10 years or so.
It runs the same under Mint 17.3, any version of 18, or 19.x using the Cinnamon desktop.
Tested under Intel GMA 950 on a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop and on a desktop running an AMD Radeon HD 6970.
