What works
Installation and starting the application works without any problems.
What does not
Initially, the application-window is set 'Ontop' of other application-windows. To make the application-window behave like other application-windows, one has to open either the Photoshop-menu or the menu of the window that Photoshop is running in. As nearly all users of Photoshop would start out by clicking the menu, this is a problem that is often not noticed. At first glance, all features work fine. However, after performing several actions and working with it for a while, the application always gets into a state whereby critical functions like 'save', 'save as' and 'resize image' stop working. I have tested Photoshop 6.0 on many versions of Wine (from 1.2 to 1.7) and this problem manifest in all Wine-versions. Although it is possible to use this application under Wine for minor and quick editing, eventually the application will always stop functioning properly. Any unsaved work will be lost. This problem renders Photoshop 6.0 under Wine pretty much useless for serious users.
