What works
Install, create new document, open/save/save as, formatting text, edit story, spellcheck, printing files that contain text only.
What does not
Printing files with embedded graphics (bug #4836), using templates. Dialog boxes look fine the first time they are opened each time the program is run, but when subsequently opened again in the same session the background of the dialog box shows up as transparent (though the dialogs still work if you can figure out what to click).
Workarounds
What was not tested
Plug-ins and utilities (book, TOC, index).
Hardware tested

Additional Comments
The first time I tried to start the program, I got the error message "Cannot start PageMaker, unable to load icon DLL for this screen." According to Adobe, this is an error message that occurs in Windows when there is a problem with either the Aldfont*.fon files or the font information in the registry. I was able to solve the problem on my system by copying the Aldfont*.fon files from the directory where the Pm70.exe file is located to the windows/fonts directory. There is more information on this error message at http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=328513&sliceId=1
