The patching of the game works correctly. You must make sure you have the Gecko IE Engine installed as well as configure the registry internet explorer settings. Refer to http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-69ca5e820c6eef64196e1830bf7f09521c2a4843 for more information. If you do not have the Gecko IE Engine installed and configured as above, you will get a box that just says "error"
What does not
Starting the actual game does not work. The game never starts. it hangs on start with a debug error "unimplemented function 0x7ee21b49 in ntoskrnl.exe"
