What works

Quick play with classic swing on the first couple of holes on several courses

What does not

Some minor graphical problems (e.g. water is not rendered in the overview window)

Workarounds

It needs native wmvcore dll. Just copying the dll from a WMP9 installation is enough, but winetricks wmp9 also works.

I needed to force 800x600 desktop on first start to configure resolution, but that may not be necessary everywhere.

What was not tested

Extended play, other play modes, other stroke types, online play.

Additional Comments

Note that Links 2003 stores data in a public location which a recent wine patch moved form C:\users\Public to C:\ProgramData. Therefore old installations will no longer work (unless the files are manually moved). This test result used a new prefix and a fresh installation.
