Additional Comments
Key authentication may fail the first time DEFCON is run. When the Tutorial is initiated, Defcon becomes incredibly slow, and remains slow until restarted. When attempting to host or join a game over the Internet, the renderer suddenly renders on top of itself, blurring everything and making gameplay near impossible. The application does run, though.

As of Aug-15-2007, DEFCON does not work on any playable level over the Steam platform, on any known Emulator. This may or may not test successfully on the more robust Virtual Machine software. Unfortunately, there is currently no public method to convert your Steam authentication to the Linux version of DEFCON.
Unfortunately, Introversion has a method, but has asked to keep such private, and I have to respect that.
