What works

The installation-process ran and worked perfectly.

Comment on the problem with the PhotoshopElementsFileAgent.exe at startup, that needs to be "killed" in order for Photoshop to start.

Simple solution:

Go to your .wine Photoshop installed directory (ex: /home/---you---/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop Elements 5.0) and simply rename PhotoshopElementsFileAgent.exe to something else (ex: 0-PhotoshopElementsFileAgent.exe)

What does not

Photoshop wont start, unless PhotoshopElementsFileAgent.exe is killed.
(Use Systemmonitor and look for the two photoshop entry's. Terminate the FileAgent process)
