Adonthell

An updated binary of Waste's Edge is now available for Windows, including TrueType Fonts as well as Dutch and Italian translation. This new binary is a side product of an ongoing effort to build the Adonthell v0.4 code base on Win32, ensuring out-of-the-box support not only for GNU/Linux and MacOS X. Interested developers can follow these steps to set up a development environment consisting entirely of Free Software, but a little more work needs to go into the all new, CMake based, build system to make it fully functional.

That aside, more effort has gone into the sprite/animation code, XML-based data files and a SDL/GL graphics backend to take advantage of hardware-accelerated rendering, but key parts like a Widget Set or the actual Map Engine are still missing. As always, your help is welcome.
