Additional Comments

The ingame movies at the beginning of the game can be disabled by changing the DefaultScene entry in HitmanContracts.ini: DefaultScene=MainMenu.gms That way you'll see the main menu when the game starts. I also prefer to run the game in OpenGL mode: DrawDll RenderOpenGL.dll

HOWTO

To exit from intro press 'ESC' and DO NOT touch mouse, because your keyboard will not work in game for current session.

(This may help you if your keyboard doesn't work in the current session, but it should be fixed in the patch to 1.174 )

HOWTO

When you install your game make sure you disable Vertex shaders or you will have you AI's and yourself invisible.

in winecfg go to Graphics and go to Vertex shaders select "none"

Enable Widescreen

You can enable widescreen with the nemesis2000 fix ( www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Hitman_3:_Contracts ). Additionally you must add the following library override for the game executable (HitmanContracts.exe) with wineconfig:

'd3d8 (native, builtin)'

No sound solution

If you can't hear any sound, you have to install dsound.
You only have to type

winetricks dsound

into the shell
