game launches fine, user can start playing new game or load. Game set to use opengl as rendering engine (need to modify the .ini file in the program directory).
What does not
What was not tested
Test against installed game on the hard disk, Installer not tested. But the game can run perfectly (perfect: same as on Windows. However on Windows many things ain't work neither) without installer on wine 1.0 (Ubuntu 9.10), thus I think there that the buggy behavior cannot be due to without install process.

To exit from intro press 'ESC' and DO NOT touch mouse, because your keyboard will not work in game for current session.
(This may help you if your keyboard doesn't work in the current session, but it should be fixed in the patch to 1.174 )
When you install your game make sure you disable Vertex shaders or you will have you AI's and yourself invisible.
in winecfg go to Graphics and go to Vertex shaders select "none"
