What works

Further testing shows that TLS/SLL works, Spamhalter, ClamWall and Graywall loaded and tested normally as well.

What does not

Nothing I've trying so far has failed.  Mercury/32 appears to me to work better with the Wine/Ubuntu winsock stack as well. Both sending and receiving appear to be faster.  I've also successfully integrated Mercury/32 with Pegasus Mail though the use of DOSBOX to run the MSDOS pconfig.exe configuration tool..

Workarounds

What was not tested

Everything has been tested and so far it all works.  In Ubuntu you cannot open the low ports (25, 110, 143) for a normal user so either you run as root or use port forwarding and run Mercury/32 on ports higher then 1024. This is not a Mercury/32 or Wine problem but a Linux problem

Additional Comments

I'm still a Linux novice but it's working as specified.
