Maintainers: About Maintainership
What works
The game itself, but not the installer: both OpenGL and Direct3D modes, with good frame rate and quality in both. To 'install': - copy the contents of all 3 CDs to one folder - delete the .gro files with langage suffixes to get english text - copy Content/SeriousSam2/Config/SafeMode.cfg to Content/SeriousSam2/Sam2.ini - adjust gfx_iAPI: 1=OpenGL, 2=Direct3D - adjust gfx_bFullScreen, gfx_pixResWidth and gfx_pixResHeight - install a nocd crack To run, go to the folder where you copied the files and 'wine Bin/Sam2.exe'.
What does not
Direct3D mode when setting UseGLSL=1 in regedit - many objects do not appear, like characters and weapons. When setting graphics quality to high, I don't see any object shadows in OpenGL, however shadows draw in Direct3D. Videos in Direct3D mode don't play correctly - they play in two small green windows. Game crashes on exit so no settings is saved when exiting game (but you can still set anything in game).

What was not tested

Additional Comments
My graphics card is GeForce 8800 GTX. Also tested with ATI FireGL v5200 (X1600), but the game doesn't run - in Direct3D mode many objects are not displayed and I am getting out of graphics memory messages, and in OpenGL it crashes before entering gameplay.
