What was not tested
Because the installation menu from the CD doesn't work probably I've copied the settlers program folder from my windows installtion into the wine folder and added the registry entry and all the (obviosly) needed *.dlls. I've also tried to use a fixed-exe. When I start "wine S2DNG.exe" it seems to work but is cancelled with the following error: "fixme:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_GetAvailableTextureMem (0x6250020) : stub, simulating 64MB for now, returning 64MB left fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_GetDeviceCaps Caps support for directx9 is nonexistent at the moment!"
