HowTo / Notes

No borders issue

This is a result of compiz window manager and the mailing list goes into some detail about what is occuring here:

http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-devel/2007-September/059007.html

This apparently is a compiz problem and so lies with compiz to be fixed. If any one that has tried the latest comiz and finds the problem is fixed please let me know.Otherwise JWPCE should work flawlessly outside of compiz, feedback contrary to this assertion is appreciated. Latest Compiz has fixed these issues, works in and outside of compiz with no problems at all.

Update: The compiz devel folks have made a patch for compiz that addresses this problem and is part of an online repository. The fix, as far as I know has not been integrated into any stable or development version yet though, here is the link.

As far as I can tell the issue of no borders has been fixed.
