HowTo / Notes

If you have problems with Athena Sword installer (Raven Shield installation not detected) follow this pattern:

  1. See Raven Shield 1.60 for information about known bugs and workarounds
  2. Use clean wine dir (~/.wine)
  3. Install Raven Shield from the CD
  4. Install Athena Sword from the Expansion CD, start the installer directly (wine setup.exe)
  5. Update Raven Shield to 1.60 and Athena Sword to 1.10
  6. You can launch Athena Sword directly: wine RavenShield.exe mod=AthenaSword
As Athena Sword is just a mod for Raven Shield (only new data and maps) all bugs and problems in-game should be reported to Raven Shield version 1.60 except if the problem is about installing or patching Athena Sword.
