What works

Installation, desktop shortcut, , launch, intro cut-scene video (but audio garbled), menu system, in-game graphics and audio, movement, puzzles, (insofar as testable - see  below)

What does not

Audio garbled on intro video cut-scene.

Game difficult to play due to excessive mouse movement: the slightest touch of the mouse on any of the screen edges (which should cause the scene to smoothly pan left/right or up/down) causes the room scenes to spin quickly. [tested on a 5 year old laptop]

This was also tested on a more powerful two year old desktop PC, and the effect was even more extreme: touching any edge causes the room to spin wildly, inducing a sense of dizziness, and making it almost impossible to stop the rotation while facing in the desired direction.

Perhaps this is due to the original game design relying on the limited performance of PCs of the time it was originally published (2002) to rate limit the panning speed of the game due to the computational load of processing the rotation and pseudo 3D distortion of the fixed 360 degree graphic image of each location in the game?
