PasswordSafe 3.10 is ready for download (U3 version here). This is a minor release - some annoying bugs have been fixed, some minor features have been added or improved upon. Thanks to DK his work on this release, and to xenophonf for making the msi package possible.
Bugs fixed in 3.10
Preliminary usage indicates this version works at least as well as the previous version, in which all essential features worked out of the box, just as in Windows.
What does not
The most notable feature to fail under Wine is 'Autotype'. There are other minor anomalies, but nothing else hampers full use under Wine.
What was not tested
I am submitting this version just hours after it was released, so I have not thoroughly tested it.
Downloading to the current directory and entering: "wine pwsafe-3.10.exe" installs Password Safe and puts a nice startup icon on your desktop. Note: see warning below.

Thanks to Thomas Muehlfriedel, we now know the "window losing it's contents" bug is not universal. This also led me to a better work-around for systems having this problem than using winecfg to disable the window manager.
If the PWsafe window becomes transparent after switching desktops, simply right click on it's dock-icon and choose "Restore" to restore it's contents.
This has the added benefit of limiting PWsafe to the desktop it was started from instead of occupying all desktops.
