Additional Comments

Slow installation (many small files). Test with 1.2 Polish version, with mods: SKIF and GIP. Tested playing France 1936-1942. No problem with videos. The game didn't hang even once. Works without any problems event if Compiz Fusion is turned on.

HOWTO

To install the game, Hearts of Iron Anthology users may need to run the setup.exe file directly from the CD rather than clicking the link.

 After installing, disable movies by renaming the avi folder.

To play multiplayer, you will have to install native DirectPlay.  See http://wiki.winehq.org/DirectPlayGames
