What works

Everything except "Open" (which even that works at least once per session, as explained in my extra comments) and the "Tools" window isn't brought to front automatically.

What does not

Well, the whole program technically doesn't work without my workarounds in my extra comments.

What was not tested

I spent a whole session editing one of my client's magazine files, so from what I can tell I tested just about everything that a working man needs.

Additional Comments

Before running InDesign CS2 for the first time please be sure to download: oleaut32.dll (Google it...) and put it into the windows/system32 folder. Then run: winecfg and add: oleaut32 (native, builtin) to the libraries tab. Also, to get "Open" and "Save As..." working do the following: 1) Run InDesign CS2 2) Click File-- Open... If nothing happens proceed. 3) Run winecfg 4) Add: commdlg (native, builtin) to the libraries tab. 5) Try File-- Open again. If you're as lucky as me it works. The only catch with this method is that it only works once per session of InDesign, so if you intend to open another file.. You'll need to save, close, rerun InDesign, and do these steps again. (Deleting commdlg from the libraries list at anytime, doesn't really matter so long as you CHANGE the entry in someway.) I hope this helps anyone who, like myself, was out of access to Windows and quickly needed a working copy of CS2 inside of Linux.
