Installation, entering checks, reconciliation, deletes, edits, backups, reports and graphs. Updates worked also. I've done 3 month's of enteries and reconciliation. I didn't see any screen issues as was previously reported. Either the newer versions of Wine and/or Ubuntu resolved that issue.
What does not
Sound. but I believe this is an issue with other apps so it shouldn't be a mark on Quicken. I initially had sound but it disappeared.
What was not tested
I haven't done the full spectrum but for what I do, everything worked.
despite the sound issue, this works! This was my tie breaker on whether I should stay fully on Ubuntu or start a dual boot. As this works, good bye Microsoft!!! On a side note, I originally had a upgrade disk of 2008 that I used on windows. I tried to install with this but the code wouldn't take. As an experiment, I tried the same on another computer that had windows and it had the same issue. Apparently, this is keyed to the original computer. I contacted Quicken and they gave me a download of 2008 that worked. Not only that, they allow me to install on up to 3 computers.
