Seems like a wine regression. Duh...

Ok, so first I suggest you to use a wineprefix.
I used "playonlinux" liveinstall. You should get it too :

The program will ask you for a name. The script allows you to choose the *.exe you need. Get the file SETUP.EXE in the dir /media/cdrom/setup/
Once installs finish, validate, and indicate the file TD6.exe as main launcher.
Ok, this done, get the two DLLs (strmdll.dll
drmclien.dll , basically from a good windows installation) and place them in ~/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/
Now you should be able to launch the game properly...
NOTE :
Tou SHOULD be able to play music file by installing Windows Media Player. Check www.oldversion.com and grab wmp64.exe
(Can't test ATM, sorry !!)
Remember that if you want to use an old wine version, you should use PLAYONLINUX !!!
