What works
The installer requires Internet Explorer 5 or greater. I installed IE 6 by downloading msie60.exe from oldversion.com, unpacking and installing it. I didn't do any of the IE workarounds described elsewhere on this site. IE installed with various warnings.
The MYOB installer then ran flawlessly and MYOB runs.
Upgrading company file.
When selecting some tabs with the mouse, focus is moved to them but they're not actually selected. They require the space bar to be pressed to actually select them. Other tabs require just a double mouse click to properly select them.
I played around moving between different sections and in that sense it worked fine.
What does not
Installer won't run without Internet Explorer being first installed. IEs4Linux will not suffice, at least out-of-the-box.
The desktop shortcut didn't work.
